Bruce Baril, President of Computer Repair & Tech Support of Plaistow NH

Bruce moved to Plaistow 12 years ago with his wife Jane, a native of Plaistow, and three daughters Mandy (16), Haley (15) and Gabrielle (12). Several years later he started the "Computer Repair and Tech Support" business. They offer computer repair and system support, Networking , Security, Maintenance programs for small business and individual home computer users (Windows XP, Vista, 2000, Windows Server, IT support and small business server consultation). Through his business activities he has made volunteering a large part of his life. When he is not working he serves on several non-profit boards and volunteers on occasion at Central Catholic High School where his two oldest daughters attend and St. Joseph’s Regional School where his youngest daughter attends.

He is a member of the Greater Lawrence Community Action Council Board of Directors (GLCAC), a non-profit organization that supports 27 agencies. The GLCAC provides fuel assistance, head start, women, infants and children known as WIC, Michael B. Christensen Family Support Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse and a multitude of social and community service programs to the community. This council enriches the lives of many families through charitable contributions. The GLCAC has just entered into an agreement with the State of NH to provide care to Plaistow and Salem NH. In addition, he has devoted his time and support to the Exchange Club of Lawrence and is on the Board of Directors for the N.E. District Exchange Clubs. He is currently the Director for the Salem NH, Methuen, Lowell, Lawrence and Dracut Exchange Clubs and is the Vice President elect for the Lawrence Exchange Club. Some of the programs for the Exchange Club are Child Abuse Prevention in which he is on the Advisory Board, Fire and Crime Prevention, Patriotism, (A.C.E.) Achievement of Excellence and the Youth of the Year Awards. For the last 2 years he has been the Chairman of the Scholarship Committee that has given more than $16,000 annually in scholarships to well deserved applicants. All of this is made possible by the commitment and dedication of my fellow "Exchangites" of the Lawrence Exchange Club.

Bruce is also one of the Director's on the board of the Caritas Holy Family Hospital Men's Guild that raises funds for the Caritas Holy Family Hospital Foundation. His volunteerism does not end there; he is a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Lawrence Community Boating program.
